The Urbisol Hotel is a modern boutique hotel with every type of facility to ensure that your stay will be pleasant and memorable. The hotel facilities will help you make the most of your time, enjoying the benefits of the Bliss spa, the idyllic outdoor pool, the excellent restaurant etc. Situated in a peaceful setting in the heart of Catalonia, at less than an hour driving from Barcelona, between the mountains and the sky creating the perfect environment to relax...

The Hotel has 9 double rooms, 2 superior rooms, 1 suite with canopy bed and one suite with fireplace and porch. All rooms have amazing views to the Pyrenees, each room with its own personal design and warm familiar atmosphere.

The restaurant was opened in 1972 and specializes in home cooking combining traditional Catalan cooking with modern cutting-edge cuisine. The elegant restaurant is the perfect place for romantic dinners, family meals or the celebrating of special occasions where you will be attended in a professional manner in graceful and comfortable surroundings. The home cooking with natural ingredients, combined with new avant-garde ideas, allows offering extremely high quality cuisine where detail is not a luxury, it is an obligation. The use of top quality products and a team of professional chefs will guarantee a delightful meal!

The BLISS SPA is open both to hotel guests and other clients who wish to come and enjoy a relaxing day. The Bliss Spa induces relaxation in a delightful atmosphere with stunning views to the Pyrenees. In addition to the indoor pool and the spa area, BLISS SPA has a relaxation area with feather beds where you can enjoy a cup of tea after your treatments.

BLISS SPA has two treatment rooms, one for couples that also has a hot tub for after the treatments to finish in a relaxing way either with your partner or individually. It is also possible to enjoy your massages in the open air. Children are not admitted to the Spa area in order to maintain the quiet relaxing atmosphere of the facilities.

¨Thank you very much for arranging a fabulous spa retreat for us. I can not speak highly enough of Carlos and Elisabeth at the Urbisol. They made us feel so welcome and were the perfect hosts. We came away completely relaxed. Carlos is an amazing cook. The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Your support and advice in placing the booking were invaluable and we took the opportunity to visit Winery Abadal for some wine tasting and go to the mountain of Montserrat. We also stopped off in Figueres for the Dali museum which was amazing.¨

¨Dear Femke and Neeltje, we returned from Spain yesterday and ... we are completely relaxed! It was wonderful. At arrival the owner of the hotel was waiting for us at the airport with refresher wipes and bottled water. A good start!Upon arrival at the hotel we found the room, however, a bit disappointing. It also did not help that the weather was not really good and that we were the only guests. Also, we did not see ourselves spending the whole day in the spa, because although it looks modern, some maintenance is welcome.

That evening however, we were pleasantly surprised by a really excellent meal and the following days this only even got better. We thought we had booked a spa weekend, yet a culinary weekend is probably a better name! The picnics surpassed it all: the owner came to look for us in the area with his 4-wheel drive, then brought us to a beautiful place and prepared our picnic: glassware, crockery, cutlery, wine, water, fruit, deserts and many little snacks based on what we eat the night before at the restaurant ... Really great. Each day we had to rush back to be in time for the massages… The massages were very good, the hikes were wonderful. The yoga class funny and a bit different (the owners called the teacher "the fifth dimension "...) but no less relaxing.

But most enthusiastic we are about the food and the personal attention. The owners are very friendly and most dedicated. At arrival the tranquillity of the place scared me a bit, yet over the days I realized the peace and calm was just what I needed! So this break is highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax. Conclusion, the only (small) comment is about the room ... Urbisol hotel offers superior rooms as well and in our opinion these would fit better with the package than the standard ones, most of all because you would expect bigger rooms considering the price. However, after experiencing the whole break, I think maybe the price might not completely fit with the room, but the total package of personal attention, etc. certainly does!
